Garmin Vivoactive 6 Launched
Garmin has introduced the vívoactive 6, its latest health and fitness smartwatch, featuring an AMOLED display and up to 11 days of battery life. Designed to provide users with insights into their health, the device includes features such as Body Battery monitoring, sleep tracking, and a range of preloaded sports apps. Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, Susan Lyman, stated that the smartwatch is intended to support users throughout their daily routines.

The vívoactive 6 includes a smart wake alarm that gently alerts users during lighter sleep stages and a morning report that provides an overview of sleep, recovery insights, and daily schedules. Heart rate variability status is also available, offering an early indication of overall wellness. Users can customize the report with themes, data, and motivational messages.
Health and wellness tools include Body Battery for energy tracking, a sleep coach for personalized sleep recommendations, HRV status monitoring, stress tracking, guided meditation, Pulse Ox measurements, and women’s health tracking. The smartwatch also supports wheelchair users by tracking daily pushes and providing handcycle workouts.
The device includes more than 80 preloaded sports apps for fitness enthusiasts, covering activities such as running, cycling, and swimming. Daily suggested walking workouts and guided strength, yoga, Pilates, and HIIT sessions are also available. Running dynamics like cadence and stride length can be monitored, while PacePro provides pacing guidance. Recovery time tools offer insights into post-workout recovery needs.

Connectivity features allow users to receive text messages, emails, and notifications when paired with a compatible smartphone. Android users can respond to texts using an on-watch keyboard. Safety and tracking tools enable emergency location sharing if an incident is detected. Garmin Pay offers contactless payment options, and users can download music for offline listening from services such as Spotify and Amazon Music.
With a lightweight aluminum bezel and silicone band, vívoactive 6 is available in Black/Slate, Bone/Lunar Gold, Jasper Green, and Pink Dawn. It will be available for order on April 4 at a suggested retail price of 299.99.
