GDU 4xx Cockpit Display Software Version 9.52 Released
As of 20 March 2025, software version 9.52 for the GDU 4xx cockpit display has been released. The update introduces a range of improvements, enhancements, and system updates.
Key changes include enhancements to the NAV radio interface when using both ARINC 429 and RS-232, improved turbine engine airframe time recording, and refinements to the weather and traffic page displays. The update also enhances the display of G-AIRMETs and improves Vertical Power integration when installed with the Garmin Engine Indication System. Additionally, it optimises the operation of the GEA 24B digital and discrete inputs and expands support for RS Flight Systems integration with Rotax 915/916 iS engines. Compatibility has been extended to include the Rotax pressure sensor 664365.

According to Garmin, the update includes various system performance improvements and incorporates multiple software updates for associated components, including the G5, GTR 205X(R), GEA24(B), GSA28, GI260, GTR20/200, GMA245, GSU25/B/C/D, GHA 15, GAD 27, GAD29, GAD13, GDL39, GMC507, GMU11, GPS20A, and GDL5X. The timezone database has also been updated to version 38.00.
