Garmin has announced the latest software update for its smartwatch and cycling computer range, introducing several new features and improvements. Strength Workouts for Garmin Run and Cycling Coach Plans
Users following Garmin Run Coach or Garmin Cycling Coach plans can now incorporate strength training into their routines. This feature offers workouts tailored to bodyweight exercises or full gym access, allowing individuals to supplement their running or cycling training.
Keyboard Enhancements
The updated keyboard improves text input efficiency when responding to messages, entering data, or making manual entries. Enhancements include a QWERTY layout with symbols, autocorrect, predictive text, and the ability to switch between button-based and multitap input methods.

Passcode Protection
A new passcode security feature provides additional protection for sensitive data. If a smartwatch is removed from the wrist, an automatic wrist detection option will require the user to enter a PIN before regaining access.

- Workout Execution Score Improvements – Enhancements have been made to the scoring system that evaluates workout execution.
- Body Battery Updates – The Body Battery feature has been refined to provide more detailed insights into energy levels throughout the day.
