Public Beta 12.10 

Garmin is rolling out 12.10 beta for the Edge 1050.

How to Install the Beta

  1. Enroll in the Beta Program: Ensure you are enrolled in the beta program and have added a Wi-Fi network to your Edge device. Check for Updates:
    • Navigate to Main Menu > System > About > Check for Updates.
    • If available, select Software Update 12.07 to install it.

Note: This update may also download automatically, depending on the rollout percentage.

  • New Features:
    • View future weather conditions for scheduled Garmin Coach Workouts.
    • Added camera options to Edge Remote / Di2 Remote Actions.
    • Schedule a software installation for after your ride.
    • View Garmin Coach running and strength workouts within Edge calendars (supporting wearable required).
    • View multiple workouts scheduled on the same day within Edge calendars.
  • Fixes & Improvements:
    • Resolved Altimeter calibration menu issues in night mode.
    • Centered GroupRide rider list around the user.
    • Fixed invalid data in gear details and issues with eBike data fields.
    • Added connection type information for paired sensors.
    • Resolved issues with nutrition/hydration tracking when the device is power-cycled mid-activity.
    • Fixed pauses during the update process before device reboots.

    • Added light color mode glances to the glance list.
    • Resolved graphical data field issues, including max speed/cadence cutoffs and dark mode spectator messages.
    • Fixed data screen setup issues via Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM).
    • Addressed various bugs and crashes.
